SAT Prep - Spring Semester

Instructor:            Dawn Thomas
Grade Level:         9th – 11th
Time:                    Thursdays, 10:45pm-12:15pm

In this course, students will learn how to break down the newly Redesigned SAT.  Students will go over each section of the newly redesigned SAT in detail with plenty of practice problems.  The first 30 minutes of each class will consist of doing real time practice problems and the next hour will consist of going over each problem explaining why the correct answers are correct and the incorrect ones are incorrect.  There will be limited outside work other than asking students to take the real SAT in either May or June while the material will be fresh on their minds. This class is not designed for seniors graduating in May 2017 to take.

This is a one semester course.  The cost of the course is $270 for the semester and $25 for materials ($67.50 per month for 4 months plus $25 material fee due in January). There is no online component for this class. Registration fees for homeschool classes at various locations (LAC, Metro, etc) also apply.
