Michelle Shaw received her B.A. in Economics from Harvard College in 1985 and her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1989. She practiced law in Massachusetts for six years before she chose to focus on homeschooling her children. She brings to her debate class her training and experience in criminal and civil litigation. Michelle has taught teenagers in various capacities for over 20 years. She has taught at Eastside/LAC for eight years. She is married to Dr. Alan Shaw, an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at Kennesaw State University and the pastor of Christ First Community Church in Stone Mountain. Michelle and Alan have three children who have graduated and two who are still in high school.
