Announcement: High Museum Modern Art Trip, Feb 6--Register before Jan 24

Help! I don't understand Modern Art!!

Join us to hear stories and design elements behind Modern Art.

Tickets for students are $14 and include a docent tour, follow up activities, free time in the High, and free admission the rest of the day. Parents are welcome and can pay at the door.

Schedule: 

8:30 Meet at MARTA’s Kensington station if you choose the train option*

9:45 All meet group at High Museum in the courtyard outside the revolving door  www.High.org

10:00-11:00 Docent-led tour of Modern Art

11:15-12:15  Walk to buy lunch at Colony Square food court nearby: CFA and some fun non-chain options. You can also bring your own lunch.

12:30-12:50 Group activity at High led by Mrs. Shuman

12:50-2:00 Visit rest of High in small groups with similar interests

2:00 ish--Meet your ride at the High or ride MARTA back with Mrs. Shuman.* For those who are picked up at the museum, Mrs. Shuman will be sure that all students are safely connected with their rides before she leaves, or that they are staying with an approved adult.

*If you are riding MARTA with Mrs. Shuman, you should meet her at the large colorful mural at the Kensington Station at 8:30. Be ready to buy a round trip ticket or a re-loadable card.
