ACT/SAT PREP - Fall Semester
Teacher: Angela Paul
Date/Time: Thursday - 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM
Grade Level: High School (9th-12th)
In this course, students will learn how to break down both the ACT and the newly Redesigned SAT. Students will go over each section of each test in detail with plenty of practice problems. Students will take 2 mock ACT exams and 2 mock SAT exams. When students are not taking mock exams, for the first 30 minutes of each class students will do real time practice problems and the next hour will consist of going over each problem explaining why the correct answers are correct and the incorrect ones are incorrect. There will be limited outside work other than asking students to take either the ACT or SAT at the end of the semester while the material is fresh in their minds.
This is a one semester course. The cost of the course is $80 per month. Registration fees for homeschool classes at various locations (LAC, Metro, etc) also apply.
Lectures and Class Time
Class time will primarily be spent on instruction. Students should bring notebooks, writing utensils, calculator and either laptop, smartphone or tablet to each class.
