Multimedia Drawing Basics
This course is designed for students both basic and advanced with an interest in art. Topics covered will include the value scale, negative and positive shapes, the seven principles of art, color wheel, and the tools used in drawing. This class will include dry media such as pencil, charcoal, pen, and marker. It will also include a segment on watercolor painting.
The goal of this course is to instill in students an appreciation for art. The student will also be equipped with the basic technical skills and vocabulary used in art.
Grades: Grades will be based on homework assignments, quizzes, projects, and participation. As not everyone is greatly skilled in art, scores will not be based merely upon skill but upon the ability to follow directions.
Tuition: $50 per month (September to May)
Supply fee: $50 for the year
