This is a high school level course that introduces the student to the Spanish language through listening, reading, writing and speaking. Material is presented in dialogs, pronunciation lessons, cultural notes, and practice exercises. Content includes an introductory unit on greetings, numbers, dates, weather and time and grammar that is taught within the context of familiar subjects such as friends, pastimes and family. Students will learn nouns, pronouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, etc. Conjugation and tenses of regular and irregular verbs will be stressed.

Spanish Verb Drills - fourth edition by Vivienne Bey ISBN 978-0-07-174472-0 (paperback)


One 90 minute class per week.

Cost: $700 if paid by the first day of class or $350 per semester to be paid the first class of each semester
