Topics covered include biological classification, cell biology, Mendelian genetics, tour of the five kingdoms of living things, cellular reproduction and DNA, viruses, and human anatomy/physiology.  Laboratory sessions include microscope work, dissections, model work, live invertebrate animal labs, biochemistry labs, and many other kinds of labs.  Students will gain an appreciation for the amazing diversity of life on earth and of the tremendous ingenuity of the Creator. The Life Science class is structured and well managed. Instruction is engaging and inspiring. Learning is accomplished in a fun way. Each class consists of one hour of instruction and one hour of laboratory work/activity.

This is a combined high school and middle school class. Middle school students work from a Life Science textbook.
