Geometry Course Overview

This course covers the topics typically taught in a high school Geometry class and is generally taken by students in grades 9 or 10. Students must have completed Algebra 1 prior to enrolling.

Required Materials

Students will need the following materials:

1. Student Workbooks
Workbooks may be:

  • Purchased in print from www.lulu.com (search Derek Owens Geometry), or

  • Printed locally from PDF files available after registration

2. Calculator & Geometry Tools

  • A scientific calculator

  • A geometry toolkit (compass, straightedge, protractor, etc.), such as those found here:

3. Additional Textbook for Practice
The workbooks currently rely on an additional textbook for extra practice problems:

  • Geometry by Harold Jacobs, 3rd Edition

A limited number of copies are available for loan upon request.

Tuition & Payment

Tuition for the class is $400 per semester.

Payment should be made directly to Ms. Kenney using one of the following methods:

  • Check

  • Venmo: @ProgressPathways
    (Venmo payments must be sent in the amount of $405 to cover the $5 processing fee.)
